Herbert Nababan - Senior Advisor

Herbert embarked on his career at the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK), assuming the role of a Functional Corruption Prevention Specialist at the Deputy for Prevention for an initial period of five years. During this tenure, he actively participated in numerous corruption prevention initiatives across governmental bodies (Ministries/Institutions and BUMN/BUMD) and private entities, encompassing diverse areas such as anti-corruption education programs, procurement of goods and services, and handling matters related to gratification, bribery, State Officials' Asset Report (LHKPN), Compliance Handling, Money Laundering Crimes, and Corporate Crimes, among others. Additionally, Herbert undertook the pivotal position of the KPK's National Cooperation Specialist, overseeing the negotiation and execution of numerous Cooperation (MoU) agreements between the KPK and a spectrum of institutions, both domestically and abroad, in a concerted effort to combat corruption within Indonesia. Over the past decade (2011-2021), Herbert Nababan ascended within the ranks of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), culminating in his role as an investigator with extensive networks and expertise in probing corruption cases, including those implicating executive, legislative, and judicial figures, thereby endowing him with profound knowledge to adeptly address a multitude of corruption cases.
